Using Classroom TA on a smartboard or projector
Full screen, presenting the board on the smartboard while you keep the controls, and moving windows with a pen or finger.
Classroom TA runs in the web browser on your smartboard, projector computer or classroom TV. Nothing to install.
- Open classroom-ta.com/board in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari and sign in.
- Click the full screen button at the bottom right of the board. Click it again (or press Esc) to leave full screen.
- Drag a tool by its top bar to move it, and pull an edge or corner to resize it. Everything inside the window grows with it, so tools stay readable from the back of the room.
If full screen is blocked (some school portals open sites inside another page), click Open the board in its own tab and try again.
Board on the smartboard, controls on your computer. If your computer is connected to the smartboard as a second screen:
- Click the screen button above full screen (bottom right) and choose On the smartboard.
- In the window that asks what to share, choose This tab and press Share (Chrome or Edge).
- A second window opens. Drag it onto the smartboard and tap Full screen.
- The smartboard now shows only your board. On your computer you keep the toolbar and every control: start the timer, pick a name, open tools. The class sees the change right away but never sees your toolbar, menus or other tabs.
- Press Stop presenting, or close the smartboard window, when you're done.
