Classroom TA (“Classroom TA”, “we”, “us”) is a classroom-screen tool for teachers, available at classroom-ta.com. It is operated by MAJD HQ Inc.. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.
The short version
- Classroom TA is made for teachers. Students do not create accounts or sign in.
- We collect only what we need to run your account: your email, your saved schedule and your tool settings.
- The noise meter listens to measure volume only. Sound is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
- We do not sell your data, show ads, or use advertising trackers.
- Payments are handled by Paddle. We never see or store your card number.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time: info@majdhq.com.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your email address and a password (stored securely by our sign-in provider; we cannot see it). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
Content you save
When you are signed in, we save what you create so it follows you to any device, including:
- your weekly schedule (classes, times, topics and notes) and class activity plans;
- sticky notes on your boards;
- settings for tools such as the Pompom jar, You belong, Finished? games and Call & response.
If you use Classroom TA without signing in, these are kept only in your browser on that device.
Schedule PDFs
If you choose to upload a schedule PDF, the file is sent securely to our AI processing provider for the sole purpose of reading your timetable and returning it to you as an editable draft. We do not keep a copy of the PDF, and you review the result before anything is saved.
Payment information
Subscriptions are sold by our reseller, Paddle (see section 5). Paddle collects your payment details, billing address and tax information. We receive only what we need to manage your subscription, such as your plan, its status, the country of purchase and the last four digits of your card. We never receive or store full card numbers.
Usage and technical information
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and error reports. We use this to keep the service running, secure and working well, and to understand overall usage. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

If you email us, we keep your message and our reply so we can help you.
2. Students and student information
Classroom TA is intended for use by teachers and other adults who lead a class. It is designed to be shown on a classroom screen. Students do not create accounts, sign in, or give us any information directly.
Some tools let teachers type short text that can include student first names, for example a list of players in Finished? games. When you are signed in, this text is saved to your account like any other setting. The Name picker keeps its list only for the current session and does not save it to your account.
We ask teachers to use first names or nicknames only and not to enter sensitive information about students (such as health details, grades or contact information). Teachers using Classroom TA on behalf of a school are responsible for following their school’s policies on student information. We use any student information only to provide the service to the teacher and never for any other purpose.
If you believe a child’s information has been entered in Classroom TA and should be removed, contact us and we will delete it.
3. Microphone and on-device features
- Noise meter: with your permission, your browser lets Classroom TA measure the volume of the room. This happens entirely on your device. Audio is never recorded, stored or sent to us or anyone else. You can turn off microphone access at any time in your browser settings.
- Call & response recordings: if you record your own voice for Call & response, the recording stays in your browser on that device. It is not uploaded to our servers.
- Full screen: full-screen mode is a browser feature and shares no information with us.
4. How we use information
We use information only to:
- create and secure your account and keep your work saved across devices;
- provide features you choose to use, such as reading a schedule PDF;
- process your subscription, free trial and receipts (through Paddle);
- send service emails, such as sign-in links, trial reminders and important changes;
- answer your questions and fix problems;
- keep the service secure, prevent abuse and meet our legal obligations;
- understand overall usage so we can improve Classroom TA.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Classroom TA, and only as needed for that purpose:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business (in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information).
6. Cookies and local storage
We use only the cookies and browser storage needed for Classroom TA to work, for example to keep you signed in and to remember your tool settings, notes and preferences on your device. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear this storage in your browser at any time; if you are not signed in, doing so will remove anything saved on that device.
7. Where data is stored
Our providers may store and process information in the United States, the European Union or other countries. Wherever it is processed, we require that it is protected as described in this policy. Information stored in another country may be subject to the laws of that country.
8. How long we keep it
- Account information and saved content are kept while your account is open.
- If your trial or subscription ends, your saved content is kept so it is there if you return. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- When you delete your account, or ask us to, we delete your account and saved content within 30 days, except for limited records we must keep by law (for example billing and tax records, which Paddle and we may keep for the period required).
- Backups are overwritten on a regular cycle.
9. Security
Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Saved content is protected so that each teacher can access only their own account’s data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach as required by law.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR, US state privacy laws and other privacy laws that apply to you), you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your account and information;
- object to or limit certain uses, and withdraw consent where we rely on it;
- make a complaint to a privacy regulator, such as the data protection or privacy authority where you live.
To make a request, email info@majdhq.com from the address on your account. We will respond within 30 days. We will never charge you or treat you differently for using these rights.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Classroom TA changes. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for important changes, let you know by email or in the app before they take effect.
