Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and MAJD HQ Inc. (“we”, “us”), for your use of Classroom TA at classroom-ta.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Classroom TA

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into this agreement. The Service is designed for teachers, educators and others who lead a group of learners. Students should not create accounts; they may view the Service only as shown by their teacher. If you use the Service on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.

2. Your account

• Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Tell us right away at info@majdhq.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
• One subscription is for one teacher. Please do not share an account between several people.

3. Free trial

New accounts receive a free trial of 14 days with full access, unless a different offer is shown when you sign up. One free trial per person. At the end of the trial, you will need an active subscription to keep using the app. If you entered payment details when starting your trial, your subscription starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then, and we will remind you before you are charged.

4. Subscriptions and payment

• Plans and prices. Classroom TA Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription at the price shown on our pricing page and at checkout. Prices are in US dollars unless shown otherwise. Taxes may be added depending on where you live.
• Our reseller. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price until you cancel.
• Cancelling. You can cancel anytime from “Manage subscription” in the app or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Price changes. If we change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel if you do not wish to continue.
• Refunds. You are not charged during the free trial. Refund requests are handled as described in our Refund Policy, and nothing in these Terms limits any refund rights you have under the law where you live.

5. Your content

“Your content” means anything you add to the Service, such as schedules, activity plans, notes, word lists, names and settings. You own your content. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to provide the Service to you (for example, saving it to your account and showing it on your boards). This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law or that remain for a short time in backups.

You are responsible for your content and for having the right to use it. When you upload a schedule PDF, it is processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Student information

Please enter only the minimum student information needed, such as first names or nicknames, and never sensitive information (for example health details, grades, addresses or photos). If you use the Service as part of your work at a school, you are responsible for following your school’s and school board’s policies on student information and technology use.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, hateful or inappropriate for a classroom;
• try to access other users’ accounts or data, or break or test the security of the Service;
• copy, resell, rent or redistribute the Service or its content, or use it to build a competing product;
• copy, scrape or download the app’s images, sounds, videos or other materials except as the Service normally allows;
• overload or disrupt the Service, or use automated tools to access it.

8. Our content and intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, tools, illustrations, backgrounds, sounds, videos and text (other than your content), belongs to MAJD HQ Inc. or its licensors and is protected by law. While your account is in good standing, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service, including showing it to your students in class. All other rights are reserved. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely without obligation to you.

9. Changes to the Service

We are always improving Classroom TA and may add, change or remove features. If we remove a major paid feature, we will let you know in advance and you may cancel. We may also pause the Service briefly for maintenance.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if we must do so by law, or if your use puts others at risk. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to save your content. If we close your account without cause, we will refund the unused part of any paid period.

11. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep Classroom TA reliable, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. Tools such as the noise meter, timers and AI schedule reading are aids for teachers; please check important information yourself. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MAJD HQ Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50 if greater.

13. Indemnity

If you use the Service in breach of these Terms or the law, and this causes a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where MAJD HQ Inc. is registered. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it together.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for important changes, notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply; if you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

16. General

If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a right right away does not mean we give it up. You may not transfer these Terms to someone else without our permission; we may transfer them as part of a reorganisation or sale of our business. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
